The Job Swap

Mark went into a listeners job and...messed stuff up! Take a look at this year's JOB SWAP!

  •
On Wednesday, we announced Beth Cooney, who works at Blu-Jon (they rent porta-potties) was the winner of our 5th annual job swap and as I show up to work for her I am followed by WTOC.
  •
    Mike Cihla hates the paparazzi.
  •
He wants to make sure I won't embarrass him.
  •
    We get ready.
  •
  •
Here we are: Blu-Jon's spacious quarters on Louisville Road.
  •
  •
  •
Mike begins to record his report and...
  •
...I surprise him from my hiding place.
  •
Here is Beth being told she has the day off and I'm going to work for her.
  •
    Learning the ropes.
  •
    Still learning.
  •
    More learning.
  •
It's not sinking in...I need more training.
  •
Okay...let's see. If the phone rings...
  •
"Hello, Blu-Jon, can I help you?"
  •
"No, this is not Pizza Hut."
  •
    Hmmm....
  •
I'm just snooping around while Beth is not there.
  •
    Too much work to do.
  •
What do I do with this form?
  •
Do I look like an operator?
  •
Ah, I can file! I know how to do that.
  •
    Ugh...
  •
    It's hot in here...
  •
    ...oh I can't?
  •
WTOC insists on doing a real story for the news.
  •
Beth just wants her day off to relax at The Mansion At Forsyth Park, which is what she won. (Thanks Jen.)
  •
Mike Cihla tries to impress Beth with a joke.
  •
Getting some tips on the computer software.
  •
  •
    Input what?
  •
    Oh...I got it now.
  •
    Can I go home?
  •
Oh, so THIS is what they put inside those porta-johns. It's water! Wait til I break this story wide open.

  •
Ain't that cute? They gave me my own porta-potty that doubles as a bank.
  •
    Back to work.
  •
    Let's see...how do I find you tube?
  •
    I think I'm getting fired.
  •
Okay, time to say goodbye. (And good riddance no doubt.)
  •
Mike Cihla from WTOC, winner Beth Cooney, me and Beth's boss Stephanie Stephens. Thanks for being good sports.
