BOLO--He's had a bad start in life but is ready for a loving home

BOLO NEEDS OUR HELP. HE IS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AT THE SAVANNAH CHATHAM COUNTY ANIMAL CONTROL. HE IS AN AMAZING DOG WHO HAS MADE IT THRU THIS HORRIFIC START AT LIFE AND IS SO DESERVING OF A HOME WHO WILL CHERISH HIM FOR THE WONDERFUL DOG HE IS.

Bolo was found by animal control tied to a tree, wearing a sweater in our hot Savannah summers, in the backyard of his previous owner’s home. He was tied to the tree with a rope, so tightly and for so long, that they rope cut deeply into his neck and nearly decapitated this sweet boy. Bolo was immediately taken from the home and underwent extensive surgery to cut the rope out of his neck. He was brought to animal control to recover and sit in a kennel until proper legal action was taken. We are happy to say that Bolo has been awarded custody to the Savannah Animal Control and can now be adopted out into a loving, forever home he so very much deserves. Sadly, Bolo is still available for adoption and desperately needs to get out of the kennel and given the opportunity to enjoy life. He has survived this horrific event and we must now team together and save his life. He needs space to run and play and a kennel simply does not provide this. Please share Bolo's story and cross-post. He is counting on us and his time is running out. He deserves more! Please help! Below are images of Bolo before and after his surgery and now, looking more handsome than ever. He is a Boxer mix, male, 1-2 years old. Contact Chatham County  Animal Control if you or someone you know is interested in Bolo!
